A United Airlines flight operated by Skywest Airlines made a safe emergency landing Monday morning at Los Angeles Intenrational Airport, LAX on Monday despite being unable to deploy its landing gear.
The SkyWest Airlines jet with 43 people aboard reported problems as it approached the airport to land at about 8:30am.
The plane was unable to extend its left main landing gear before landing on runway 24L, FAA official said.
The plane came to a stop with the landing gear still retracted and was immediately surrounded by emergency personnel.
All passengers safely exited the aircraft. No injuries were reported.
