Noble House Hotels & Resorts, a collection of exceptional, luxury hotels and resorts, announced today it will manage the forthcoming The Josie Hotel, the first truly ski-in/ski-out hotel to open in Canada in over a decade, in partnership with William Cole Companies. The Josie Hotel is located at the base of RED Mountain Resort in Rossland, British Columbia, Canada, an undiscovered slice of Western Canada and an outdoor enthusiast’s dream getaway.

Positioned on the Powder Highway, Rossland is one of the biggest ski resorts in western Canada with the world’s largest cat skiing operation and was recently voted “Canada’s #1 Outdoor Town” by Explore magazine. The Josie Hotel is slated to open early 2018.

“Our partnership with William Cole Companies will allow us to open RED Mountain Resort’s first ever boutique hotel and to celebrate Rossland’s rich heritage,” said Pat Colee, Noble House founder and chairman of the board. “We aim to increase tourism to this incredible destination and create a four-season gathering place for locals and visitors alike.”

The Josie Hotel is a modern, architecturally-unique 106-room hotel at the base of RED Mountain Resort offering luxury accommodations, a world-class restaurant and lounge helmed by Chef Marc-Andre Choquette, indoor and outdoor dining options with fire pits, event, conference and meeting rooms, a large function deck, a fitness facility, a boutique spa overlooking the mountain and ski and activity concierge services. Guests of The Josie Hotel are encouraged to explore all the thrill-seeking destination has to offer, including skiing and snowboarding, cat skiing and snowboarding, cross-country skiing, fat biking, snowshoeing, curling, ice skating and hockey. Guestrooms and suites offer stunning vistas of the surrounding RED Mountain range, as well as plush bedding, relaxing seating areas and spacious bathrooms. While contemporary in nature, the hotel’s design team pulled inspiration from the City of Rossland’s legacy of 40 years in the mining industry and named the hotel after the historic Josie Mine that operated from 1890-1929. The Josie Hotel will have an emphasis on locally-inspired, meaningful hospitality, a hallmark of the partnership between William Cole Companies and Noble House Hotels & Resorts.
