Cameroon Travel Center CEO named to ATA Board

(eTN) - Ms.

(eTN) – Ms. Francoise Kameni-Lele, CEO of Cameroon Travel Center, was elected as an Executive Director to the International Board of Directors of the Africa Travel Association (ATA), which took place during the 37th Annual Congress in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Over the next 2 years of her term, she will work on moving the organization forward and implementing priorities set out at the 37th Annual Congress.

As discussed during the annual Congress, the ATA’s greatest challenge is its limited financial resources. The association continues to work on further leveraging and expanding its strategic partnerships, which have allowed it to grow significantly. It is only with increased resources, however, that the organization will move forward. Therefore, in particular, over the next 2 years, the Board of Directors is tasked with coming up with new ideas with respect to increasing membership, and soliciting new premier partners and sponsors, as well as programs that the organization can undertake to expand its resources to better serve its members worldwide.

The annual meeting of the International Board of Directors will take place during the Annual Congress usually held in May of every year in Africa; to support the mission of the Africa Travel Association, and to maintain membership in good standing. In addition, from time to time, the Board will hold various meetings and events throughout the year.
